Update: This site is under new management. Please welcome Marc as your new webmaster. Marina and the Diamonds is the stage name of Marina Diamandis, a Welsh-born solo artist based in London. Marina released two records in 2009, both on Neon Gold Records. The first coupled "Obsessions" with "Mowgli's Road", the second featured "I Am Not A Robot", "Seventeen" and "Simplify". She is signed to the 679 record label, which is part of Warner Brothers. Her first single for 679 was released on November 2nd 2009 and was a re-recording of "Mowgli's Road". However, her most popular single, "Hollywood", was released on February 1st 2010. Her third single, "I Am Not a Robot", was re-released on April 26th 2010. August 2nd 2010 saw the release of her fourth single, "Oh No!", which gained a lot of radio airplay. Marina's 5th single "Shampain" is expected to follow on October 4th 2010. A full length album, called "Family Jewels" was released on February 22nd 2010. She is currently working on her next 2 albums.
